Great Spanish School and Sense of Community!

I had decided on a whim (about three days before) to take a week of private Spanish lessons in Quito. I chose Ailola because of all the positive online reviews. I contacted them through their website and within a couple of hours I received a response from Eugenio. The entire registration process was very easy thanks to Eugenio's consistent contact and clear instructions. Ailola even sent one of their staff members, Teresa, to meet me at my hotel (recommended by the school) at 8:00 a.m. on Monday morning and she escorted me to the school. In addition, Mario also recommended a great vegetarian restaurant for lunch near the school and he even walked with us to show us where it was. He also waited patiently for a couple of us while we purchased SIM cards for our cell phones! Talk about customer service! The school is very well-run and organized, and everyone is very friendly and welcoming. The free salsa and cooking classes are also very fun. They also offer off-site excursions but I didn't have the opportunity to participate in any of them.

My teacher, Tito, was very kind, patient, organized and he would immediately correct my errors which I appreciated. He also made sure I understood the material before we moved on to something else and would encourage me to ask questions. I have been studying Spanish off and on for the past 25 years but we did a lot of review to sharpen my skills. I highly recommend Ailola and am hoping to come back and study with them again someday!
