Not sure how you’ll buy textiles from the Otavalo markets? Worried you won’t be able to ask for a glass of aguardiente at a bar in Quito? Keep in mind that it’s unlikely the locals you interact with in Ecuador will have time to help you cooly conjugate verbs or constantly correct your use of masculine or feminine!
