Whilst I found the experience an amazing one. The tours where far too expensive for what they are. The other students are amazing and the cooking classes where a particular highlight. The teacher that I had was exceptionally good. Daniela was an exceptional teacher who had patience and was able to help us through the difficulties of Spanish. The location of the school was perfect as it was so close to old town and was in the very center of Quito. Parts of the administration were lacking. The person that I was first introduced to spoke no English and couldn't communicate well with us. As such we didn't know about the activities that the school offers and it was only until we met Laura when we where told about the school activities. Reception did not tell us about the activities given by the school, also I found reception to be slightly sarcastic. My Spanish was broken but I was told that I needed to do better only after a single week. It is hard to learn a language and reception should understand that.

Many thanks for your review, Matthew! We're happy you enjoyed your stay at our school. You're right, sometimes it's hard to communicate with people that speak different languages. Part of our concept is that everybody only speaks Spanish right from the beginning to strengthen the immersion. According to our experiences this made students progress a lot in a short period of time. We hope, you could still consider your learning experience a good one and wish you all the best for your travels!
